Synopsis: Fred: The Movie, is a tale of desperation and very creepy stalker sort of stuff.
Lucas Cruikshank plays the highly annoying, very desperate, and extremely creepy character Fred. I can only compare Fred to a car crash; you don't want to see, and it makes you cringe, but you can't look away. Every time Fred is watching this girl he desperately wants to date you think, "Is he really laying wait??" Fred really likes this neighbor girl. He is constantly saying that they are dating when they have never even spoken, which leads me to believe that Fred may be unstable, that he is having delusions, and that he exhibits behavior typical of a person with symptoms of psychosis
Fred's entire objective in this movie is to hook up with, and become more than just friends, with his neighbor, the hot chick (I can't remember her name). He literally stalks her. After several scenes of Fred carefully recording (which I like to call reconnaissizing) her daily schedule Fred decides to do a little B&E. At this point Fred is concocting ways, which are comically pleasing in the slapstick sort of way, to enter her house through the backyard. At least Fred has a reason to enter through her backyard. Fred's other neighbor is the school bully, and the girl's actual boyfriend; He will not allow Fred to approach the girl's front door. This is where I stopped watching because I had other duties to perform.
Other notes: Fred's dad is nowhere to be found, and they refer to him as, "not around". Fred's mom "stays in shape for work" (wonder what she does), and provides for Fred. Fred has issues beyond the typical audience ages understanding. There are millions of that's what she said jokes awaiting you.
All in all, this movie leads me to believe that Nickelodeon didn't think things through. Please! To all those kids that see this movie; Fred does not showcase good judgment or appropriate actions. Do not try anything performed by Fred or the cast @ home.
